The Preference Store Manager view allows administrators to monitor preferences changed by any user for the Stardust Portal and Stardust engine. You can open this view from the Administration Perspective launch panel. By default, preferences for the default partition are displayed.
Whenever the user changes and saves any preference in the Stardust Portal, e.g. via Portal Configuration, the Preference Store Manager displays all the preferences for that view. For example, the user clears the check box Close Related Views for the Activity Panel setting from the Portal Configuration view. The Preference Store Manager displays all the preferences for the Portal Configuration view. Thus, the Administrator can use the Preference Store Manager view as a tool to investigate and debug issues related to the preference store and to provide more visibility on current preferences.
The following columns are displayed in the Preference Store Manager view:

You can export table content to CSV. Furthermore pagination and sorting is provided. For details on these table options, please refer to the according chapters in the Working with Tables section.
You can search for preferences based on user and tenant.
To search for tenant preferences, make sure that Search Tenant Preferences option is selected. These are partition scoped preferences.

To search for user preferences, select Search User Preferences option and
add the user name in the text box adjacent to it.
As soon as you enter the text, user names matching the pattern are provided in the drop-down list.
You can select the user from the list.
Note that the search is per default case-sensitive with the exception of the
first letter. You can change to case-insensitive search by setting the property
Carnot.Client.Search.CaseSensitive in your carnot.properties
file to false.

Click Search. The search result displays all the preferences changed by the specified user.

If you want to search for specific preference from the preference search result table, specify the text (Scope, Module ID, Preference ID, Preference Name and Value) in the Filter text box and click Search. The search result displays the filtered preference.
