Configuring Benchmark Settings
In the Benchmark Management panel, you can specify benchmarks for processes and
their models. Using the Benchmark Management panel, you can associate benchmarks at model-level and process-level.
However, benchmarks set at the process-level
supersedes the benchmarks set at the model-level.

Note that the benchmarks are available for selection, if only,
they are defined and published in the Benchmark Management view of the
Control Center perspective.
To configure a benchmark, you need to specify following details:
- Recalculation Events-Recalculate Activity Benchmark on: By default, benchmarks are evaluated on any state change of process
and activity.
- Activity Creation - By default, this option is selected. Clear the check box if the benchmark should not be calculated
on activity creation.
- Activity Suspend - By default, this option is selected. Clear the check box if the benchmark should not be calculated
on activity suspend and activity suspend and save.
- List of Models - All the models that are displayed in the
Benchmark Management view.
You can select the benchmark to be applied for the model from the drop-down list.
It contains the following options:
- None - No benchmark is applied. By default, this option is selected.
- List of benchmarks, if defined
- List of Processes - All the processes that are displayed in the
Benchmark Management view.
You can select the benchmark to be applied for the process from the drop-down list.
- Model Default - If selected, all processes in that model have benchmark setting same as Model.
You should select this option, if you want to
associate same benchmark definition as model to multiple processes within that model.
