The Stardust Portal provides a Gantt Chart view, which displays the current status and duration of elements in the Process Instance hierarchy.
The entire process instance hierarchy is displayed from the root process instance, even when the in-scope process instance is a sub-process.
The Gantt Chart view can be invoked via the Gantt Chart view button
available in the
Process Details view or via the
View Gantt Chart option provided in the
Actions menu for processes listed in tables
(Process Search view of the Control Center Perspective,
Process Overview of the
Administration Perspective).

Invoking one of these options opens the Gantt Chart view according to the process instance:
The ProcessInstance Name is displayed along with process instance start date and time under the Overview section.
The Legend selector supports changing the gantt chart colors to either display the process/activity instance status or the benchmark categories that is, the labels and colors as defined in the associated benchmark definition. Note that the associated benchmark should be selected by default if one is associated with the process instance.
Status is indicated by different color legends:

For benchmark, legends are displayed based on the defined categories of benchmark. For example, in the following screenshot Green, Blue and Red are the labels and colors defined.

The time line is two-tiered with the second row showing the interval selected and the first row providing a less specific interval for context.

A tree shows the process instance hierarchy.
Expand all
and
collapse all
options are provided to expand and collapse
all elements in the tree. Individual processes can be expanded and collapsed, too.
Auxiliary processes and auxiliary activities are hidden by default, but they can be shown in the tree by
toggling the
Show/Hide Auxiliary option.
The tree includes the root process instance, even when the gantt chart's scope is a sub-process.
The in-scope process instance is indicated in the tree.

The status of the sub-process matches with the process and not with the sub-process activity. In the above screenshot, the sub-process "Called Subpro" displays the status as Active which is the status of this process and not its activity.
You can activate the activity using the "Activate" option provided next to eligible activity instances in the gantt chart.

A bar for each element indicates a process instance and activity instance status. Based on the selected legend, the color of duration bar is determined.
A tooltip is provided to display the status, start and end time of the process or activity instance.
